Pricing FAQs

Is Path To Diagnosis really free?

Yes. We're free for everyone — you only pay the clinic you choose, and many of our recommended pathways (like NHS Right to Choose) are free too.

How much does a private ADHD assessment cost?

Typical adult assessments range from £500 at the budget end to £2,000+ at premium clinics. Most fall in the £700–£1,000 'best value' band.

How much does NHS Right to Choose cost?

Nothing. RTC providers are paid by the NHS at the standard tariff — your assessment, report, titration and NHS medication are all free.

Are children's assessments more expensive?

Yes, typically £150–£400 more than adult assessments because they require additional school reports and observation.

What about medication and follow-ups?

Plan for £50–£150 per titration appointment and £30–£120/month for medication until your GP enters a shared care agreement.
